M.A. Richter When I had it, sometimes I just let it go for a day. Other times I just wrote anything, as I said before - a lot of it was junk, and sometimes something began to flow I didn't even realize was there.
M.A. Richter If I can make a living with this, I'll be doing what I love to do for the rest of my life and living well from it.
M.A. Richter I go with Steven Barnes: write something every day, even if it's just one sentence. For myself, never give up, never surrender - it ain't over until it's published or gone.
M.A. Richter Another fantasy adventure novel. When it's ready to be publicized, I'll make a lot more noise. :-)
M.A. Richter When I was in high school, I had a marvelous English professor who insisted that we write *something* in a journal every day. I began with free-form poetry, then moveed on to an SF novel, which was, admittedly, crap. Since then, I've learned a lot from critique groups, other writers, and most recently my editor. My latest inspiration came when I met and had a chance to chat with Joe Straczynski at the 2014 LosCon. He encouraged me to finish my writing and publish.
M.A. Richter I got hooked on fantasy role playing games way back in the 70s and I wantede to write a story that was not based on the rolls of dice or game rule books.
