I would tell any aspiring writer to pursue their passion and don't give up. If you believe 100% that you have something important to write, then do it. Don't let anyone tell you that your story is not good enough or that it wont be worth reading. Take all of the no's and use it as fuel to move forward.

I'm currently putting all of my time and energy into marketing Chasing Butterflies, especially with the 20th anniversary of 9/11 approaching.

I began writing in my early twenties while I was dating in Manhattan and looking for love. After a series of bad dates and break-ups, I had gathered many short stories. Years later, in my thirties, I began writing about memories of my father. It occurred to me that I should combine the dating stories with memories of 9/11 and that's how Chasing Butterflies came to be.
