It's okay to have a "zero day."
I, more often than not, don't let the days go by without doing some form of the writing process. I spend a portion of every day either thinking about my books, talking about them and bouncing ideas, or writing (even if it is only a couple paragraphs).
On the rare occasions that I can't do any of the three, I let my brain rest. I can be a bit of a workaholic, so my hardest part is allowing myself to breathe and completely separate myself from writing when I need a break.

Going on adventures without having to leave home. I am a homebody, and I love dwelling in my "bat cave." If I were to be locked away with nothing more than my computer and some music, I would be happy. I have to force myself to break away from writing a lot, though.
Even though I prefer to stay home, I do love chatting with readers about my books. That for sure is one of the best parts of being an author/writer.

My current WIP is book 2 in the Heart of Fire series: Marmidon Ablaze. I started last night on the revision! I am so excited to bring this story back, better than ever, to the world!
