It's so exhilarating to create worlds and characters that are just as vivid as the world we live in.
I love it when a reader goes off on a rant about one of my characters saying "he/she reminds me so much of ... They were awful too!" Or they tell me they were in tears while reading a certain section of the book.

I'd always enjoyed telling stories, I put it down to my Celtic genes, but I'd never considered writing a book until one Tuesday afternoon in May 2019.

Rachel's Butterflies was inspired by my two best friends Pippa and Joe. We grew up together, went to school together, and over the years we have supported each other through good times and bad. They are like siblings to me. They truly are my butterflies.
