I tell myself this all of the time: First, get it DOWN. Then, get it RIGHT. First drafts are always terrible - without exception. But they are just the outline - the sketch that you will come back to color and shade later. So finish it. Even if you hate it. Even if you think it's awful. Finish it. Because eventually that terrible first draft will become the book you are proud of. But you have to get it down first.

I'm working on the next books in the Running in Parallel series. Although I originally thought it would be a trilogy, it's turning out to be four books. I'm so excited to share the next set of adventures for Fara, Blu and their friends (and enemies), and apparently there are going to be having a lot of them!
