It can be anything really. A lot of it runs off my emotions. If I have an upcoming chapter I have planned and It is really Dark, I will wait until I have that emotion running through me. It is how I get those feelings embedded in the words.

Daddy Devil is actually inspired by TikTok/ Instagram influencer Dante Black, and I say inspired, not based on. Although he did choose the title of the book and the Characters name that he inspired.
