I read a lot of dystopias, none of which I'd actually want to visit. So, Oz, probably. But not the one from the book or the musical--the one from Return to Oz. There's a fantasy world rife with possibility!

My new novellas examine homelessness, isolation and loss. Not a day goes by that I'm not reminded of those things. Switch on your computer, look at your phone... walk down the street, past any park in my city. It's there.

I'm currently working on a science fiction novel, and revising a couple of short stories in the same genre.

I want to move people, or make them think, or barring all that, entertain them. If you've seen me dance, or heard me sing, you know why I chose writing as a way to do that.

Personally? I write through it. Even if it seems like junk, you're generating ideas, making connections. And you can always fix it tomorrow. A lot of writer's block boils down to low confidence, which we all feel sometimes.
