Ken Tingley When you write that turn of phrase that is totally original. If you can do that two or three times a day, you are doing pretty good.
Ken Tingley I don’t think it is inspiration as much as a daily routine that you get up and do. I find that the inspiration comes through the process. If you have an idea, write it out. It is the best feeling the world to look up at the clock and realize it is already lunch time.

Ken Tingley When I first arrived at the Glens Falls, NY newspaper in 1988, a columnist named Don Metivier had just published a collection of his columns. It was history book of sorts, chronicling the people of a small town. It always stuck with me and when I retired last year, the first thing I did was put together a collection of my columns.
Ken Tingley I’m researching a novel about a young sailor who meets an Irish lass in Belfast, Northern Island, falls in love and marries her. It is the story of my parents.
