The regional Park of the Appia Antica has some good downloadable maps. Believe it or not Google Maps on your phone is very good for walking paths through the Caffarella Park too, taking to hidden places like the nymphaeum of Egeria very easily.

I'm working on recording the audiobook myself right now but because of the pandemic it's going to take longer to get out there than the book. Maybe two more months because it takes that long for the publisher to clear the files.

I hope not! I make a point of not focusing entirely on a single series. Over the years I've written different characters and stories in Rome, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Wouldn't want to just focus on a single series for the very reasons you say.
The Savage Shore is the first Costa book in nine years and the next is a standalone set in the Faroes Islands. You have to keep challenging yourself in writing to make sure you don't go stale or find it 'easy' - it isn't and never should be.

Hi Diana. Glad you've enjoyed the books. I plan for the series to continue but not on an annual basis. Maybe in a couple of years there'll be the next one - it's partly written already but I do have some other projects to attend to in the meantime.

No short answer to this. Writer's block isn't a real thing in my experience. We all get stuck, we all have doubts about what we're working on. What you need to find is a way round that stuck moment. It may involve walking away from the project for a while. Or reading what you've written and trying to work out if you've lost your way.
One big tip: if you get stuck on Page 182 the problem will be 60 pages earlier, never at the point where you notice the problem.

Read lots of books... if you don't read you'll never write. And read outside the genre you want to write in too. Lots to learn out there.
