I have been pretty fortunate to not deal with this much. When nothing is flowing, I just give it a break for a few days or weeks. Before you know it, the creative juices start flowing again.

The best thing is being creative. This is my hobby that I hope can pay for itself one day. I love it when my hobby can make someone else smile, laugh and cry with every page they turn.

Don't be afraid to try and don't get caught up in what's right or wrong. Tell your story however you would like. Take chances- you will never know how great you will be until you try.

I am almost finished with Book 2 of the series- The lost souls. I have also started writing short stories. Stay tuned for more on those projects.

I have always enjoyed writing. Although I chose the healthcare field, English major was my second choice. Now I have the best of both worlds.

In 2005, I lost my niece and nephew within 6 weeks of each other. I started writing as a way to deal with grief. I wanted both of them to have an adventure beyond this mortal world even if it is a fictional story.
