I have to really listen to my body, mind and spirit. So whenever I hit a roadblock, I just go with how I feel. If I feel burnt out, I take more breaks, if it feel like working on character design would help I do that. I also watch stuff that I'm drawn into which often spark new ideas to add to my writing.
