Three times!!! And my husband, who isn't a sci-fi movie fan wants to go see it again because he just finished the book (which I've read twice). It was wonderful seeing a being from another place is space portrayed as being so advanced and so willing to make contact. Normally the Earth person would see a potential enemy. Instead Rocky reaches out. And so very advanced technologically. And it is by the two beings using their skills that they survive and solve the problem. So refreshing.

Almost all my writing time is for novels. I typically write for six hours a day - taking lots of breaks for more coffee, bathroom breaks, emails, etc.
I've only written one short story, which I love but it hasn't grabbed anyone else's heartstrings.

Trish, I don't know why this one is taking so long. I thought I had it done and then my editing guru said.... so I've done some major changes: deleted a character, added some scenes, and the most excruciating - I've rewritten tons and tons of sentences starting with I.... a danger when writing in the first person. The book is book for my guru to take another look.

I met a lovely foreign student (female) and two days later she was dead. The police called it a suicide, but I know in my heart, it wasn't.
