I love God, traveling, my family and friends, speaking, writing, and nature. These things inspire me. I love what I do and am very thankful. Writing enables me to dream big, to use my gifts for God's glory, and to encourage and help others. I love the freedom of being my own boss, able to set my schedule and hours. I can't imagine not writing; I've been doing it my whole life. It makes me happy and fulfills me.

I just finished writing and publishing my 12th book on Amazon, Stained Glass & Marriage: Reflections of Light & Hope by an Imperfect Wife. I finally reached my big goal of getting all the books I've written on Amazon for the Kindle. Woot! This week I'm working on getting the book in print and ordered the print physical copy to proof it, before publishing it. The next book I plan to write is the second book in my fiction Storm Tossed trilogy series called "Afflicted." Rachel and her husband Jackson will be on a mission trip in Africa, when they are kidnapped by a terrorist group.

Write. lol. That is really what it takes. Write, edit, write. I once heard, "Don't love your own words." Less is more. Learn your craft from the writing masters. Never give up, never quit. I believe God is the one who put that dream of writing a book inside your heart. Dream big because we serve a big God, and nothing is impossible with Him. Push through procrastination and distractions. Perfectionism will kill creativity, so don't listen to that critical editor's voice in your head. Tell her to shut up and keep writing. Read, read, read. Always have pen and paper with you for inspired ideas. Journal often. Seek help from other successful authors. I believe in you. You can and will write that book! Find your writing voice. WRITE! Your writing is a gift that the world needs...don't hide it, but bless others with it and glorify God with it.
