Harry Harvey Find a time of day when you are most creative, for me it is the morning. It's quiet, there's coffee, and you trick your brain into writing. Try to write a little each day, and you will be surprised how fast the pages fill up.
Harry Harvey I am now working on a middle grade father and son sports story called Ping-Pong Johnny. It's about a kid who stinks at sports until he finds table tennis, but his dad, who was an amazing high school athlete, hates Ping-Pong and won't let him play.
Harry Harvey I don't really wait for inspiration, I try to write every day when I can. When I don't, I get grouchy.
Harry Harvey It started with an article about the "mile-a-minute vine" that was growing so fast it was killing native plants and animals on islands in the South Pacific. Personally, I was involved with my own weed battle in my family's yard. I hate weeding-doesn't everyone! The little devils aways come back!
