Having just launched the first book in the Crystal Lake series, my main focus is on marketing book one, but I have an outline for book two and I've pulled that out and started to get my head into the characters and scene I'm creating for this book. Yea!

A missing ice cream scoop. I know that sounds odd, but I had the ice cream scoop passed down to me that we used as far back as I can remember. It just disappeared one day, never to be found again. I have some thoughts on the demise of the old scoop that might make for a cozy mystery plot.

I'm retired from a 35-year career in banking. I loved my job, but as you can imagine, it was all about facts and figures. I've always been a "happy ever after kind of gal" and I enjoyed reading clean wholesome stories. Romance novels give us that outlet. I guess it's true that each of us has a book in our head - we just need to take the time to put it down on paper.

Crystal Lake Inn is about a restored inn near Crystal Lake. The inn's owner is Cassidy Taylor. It was exciting to write about Cassidy and her inn, which she purchased when it was falling down. She lovingly renovated it and turned it into a successful business.
