I have a dedicated playlist for every book that I write. Listening to it gets me into the right headspace for each book. I also find having my cover (one of the first things I create) in front of me at all times helps.

Experiment and find out which writing method is best for you. It doesn't how you write. In the end, all that matters is the final book. Also, read, read, READ! Read everything you can get your hands on and never stop. The learning never ends.
