The best advice I ever heard regarding writer’s block and writing in general is that “you can’t steer a parked car.” In other words, just keep writing. It doesn’t matter if it’s terrible or incoherent just keep pushing forward. It doesn’t have to be perfect; the whole book doesn’t have to be mapped out, just write figure out the bare bones of what happens next and write that. You can always come back and flesh out the rest later.
