I just don't write that day. Instead I let ideas percolate in my head. I also construct a file entitled 'Content by Chapter'. This gives me a structure to follow, I hope logically, as the reader would see it. That way I can focus just to write that one chapter.

Just do it! I have to admit it was Andrew Turpin (Author of the Joe Johnson Thrillers) that pushed me to do it! Write in your own style and accept the help of a professional editor with a developmental edit to start.

This book was started, believe it or not, thirty years ago in longhand! It's a mystery thriller that was sparked by a number of events that were reported on at the time. My career meant I never had time to devote to it and then the lockdown came in 2020.
