During that time, a young schoolteacher disappeared from her teacherage that was connected to the rural schoolhouse. 'Mariah is Missing' is a fictional drama about the mystery of her fate. The event has haunted me as I didn't appreciate the impact of the event until later. Writing and publishing the story has been cathartic. Thank you for considering reading the story.

'Mariah Is Missing' left many unanswered questions even though the ending has been reviewed as satisfying but unexpected. I have started a sequel to continue the story.
