Random things can make me inspired and often it's from scrolling through pinterest or hearing an epic soundtrack/song. Tiktok has been helpful in finding snippets of songs which then create scenes in my mind. Those scenes either make it into a book or remain in a random folder on my laptop or in my notebooks. Then, I find myself scrolling and rummaging through these folders and end up finding old quotes and ideas which then inspire me.

I am a massive fantasy fan so normally around the summer my reading doesn't change. However, I have been seeing a lot of pirate-based books that I want to read such as, 'Fable', 'Dark Shores', and 'On These Black Sands'. Add a splash of mermaids and I really want to read 'Skin of the Sea'.

I am currently working on two books at the moment. The first one is the second book in 'The Realms' series which is a direct follow-on from 'Trials & Tribulations'.
The second book I am working on is an adult sci-fi romance based around a military woman who is tasked with finding a rogue mercenary fighting monsters in Hawaii. It's an enemies to lovers with tropes such as 'there was only one bed', 'forced proximity', and 'rivals to lovers'. There is action and a lot of adult romance.
