When I first began writing, I do believe I had an occasional writer's block but that diffuses quickly when you listen to your characters or your muse! I don't plot stories; I allow them to develop as I sit at the keyboard. If I can't hear the characters chattering in my brain, I switch to another story in process and start writing. Once you begin, it simply hums along.

You no longer merely daydream; you create. All of it is yours to do. You create an environment, or like me with this Hope Falls series, you create everything from thin air. The way the day breaks, what stores are in town, who knows what about whom and all the little secrets harbored in the hearts of the people walking down the sidewalk. How great is that? It's fantastic.

Believe in yourself. To become a published writer, first you must write! Habitually. Every day. If you truly love being a storyteller, you will find a way to chisel out the time necessary to create. Once you've written the first book and hold it in your hands, there is no going back. You are a creator!

Can you believe it? I'm actually writing three books! For now, I'm concentrating on the next release which will be "Blackberries and Brandi" Summer 2022 and under my real name, the end of a fantasy series, The Spires of Dasny: 5. Once those manuscripts are completed and off to the editor, I'll pick up and complete "His December Bride". Who is the bride? Discover the Hope Falls series and take a guess!

I'm blessed with an over-active imagination! Most of the time inspiration comes from the desires to see people find happiness and so, in my small way, I create it by guiding the characters to their happily ever after.

The work in progress is for Blackberries and Brandi, which is part of the continuing series in the Hope Falls series. I enjoy discovering the lives and loves of everyday people and get to imagine how their lives will be.
