Paco Montoya As grim as Ready Player One took place, the fact that you could submerge yourself into this virtual world and make a living there seems pretty cool. It also makes you wonder just how far away we are from that becoming reality.
Paco Montoya I have started two stories since my last release and I'm not quite sure which direction I'm going in. I'm not one to like to force a story so right now, I'm in a weird limbo. I'm hoping to get the spark that I have had in my past two books to be able to get my next piece going.
Paco Montoya I like to take a walk and listen to music. I enjoy watching movies with my wife as well. I also love to play video games. Those things can help spark scenes in my head. Sometimes, it's anything to get me away from the story. I feel like I need to disconnect a little from that world at times. That way when I come back to it, I'll have a fresh look at it.
Paco Montoya I get to create worlds, characters, and stories that don't exist and make them feel real and alive. There's nothing better than bringing all of that together. When it all works, it's like a high when you're writing it and you don't want to stop.
Paco Montoya Write because you love the story. Don't write for anyone else but you. The right audience will come. If you love what you are writing, it will show in it, your readers will feel it. Don't force the story just to get something out.

Don't be afraid to self-publish if you feel that's the right thing for you to do. But you better be ready to put the work in. Don't come at it halfway and expect full results in all that you do.
Paco Montoya My stories just come to me. I can be listening to a song, watching a movie, reading a book, listening to someone tell a story, or they just come at random. There's no way to explain it, except that I constantly have stories/scenes running in my head. For as far as back as I can remember, I've always made up stories/scenes in my head.
Paco Montoya I've always been a huge fan of the 80s and 90s rom-coms/teen dramas. I am inspired greatly by music and also movies, books, or even real-life stories.
