Music and reading are the two things that inspire me most, and sometimes movies or tv shows. Anything that makes me think about what I am working on at the moment or a character within that universe, sometimes it might inspire a whole scene.

I'm currently working on book two of my series 'Flesh & Blood' and I'm about 90 pages in. Very happy with how it is going so far, even if my characters are taking me down some unexpected paths and some of my plans have changed already. Hoping to get draft one finished by the end of the year or the start of next, then edit edit edit!

Taking a break, I take it as a sign I'm in need of one. I'll go off and watch something, read a book, go on a walk or play a game. Doesn't matter what it is just a way to unwind and most of the time I find doing something else inspires me with a new idea, then I'll go back to writing. I never make myself feel bad for having a break or just taking a minute to pause.
