I was introduced to the main character in a history class I took in grade 12 and have wanted to write about him ever since. His story is very compelling to me. He seemed to me to be someone who was agood person who tried his best for his people and who was very loyal to his family.

This is a hard question. Ever since I was a child I have had a big imagination and have loved telling stories. As for the series I am writing right now, the main character in my series is very interesting to me and I have wanted to tell his story for many years. As a new historical fiction author I supose the best answer to the question is that the historical characters I write about are what enspire me to write my stories. Both the one I am writing now and others I plan to write in the future.

At the moment I am working on the second book in the series I am writing about the last king of Wales. My first book was about how my main chracter became ruler, and this book is the middle of his story.

My advice for any espireing writer is to think about what kinds of books you enjoy reading and what speaks to you and start from there. Characters are important to any story, so think about your characters a lot before you start writing. Who are they? What are their lives like? What do they look like? What kind of person are they are with other people? A good outline is important for any writer. It helps to organise your information and makes it easier to map out your story into chapters. Try and pick out time every day to get in even a paragraph or two. Consistancy is very important when writing a novel.
