What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Abbey Franer Read and study your favorite authors. Read and study as much as you can about grammar, formatting, etc. Most importantly is WRITE. Keep at it, keep editing, keep honing your craft!

What are you currently working on?
Abbey Franer I recently published my debut novel and marketing takes up a lot of my time, but I am currently working on writing a dark academia fantasy that I am so excited to share.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Abbey Franer Taking time for "creative hibernation" can be helpful. Instead of forcing words onto a page, I focus on watching movies and shows that inspire me, reading tons of books, and paying attention to the beauty all around me. You never know where you might find inspiration!

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Abbey Franer This is a hard question! One of the most recent book places I felt a sense of homesickness for is Velaris from the ACOTAR series.
