I get "inspired" randomly. I might see something interesting, like a bathbomb with a pentacle on it, or read a tweet or hear something that I write down and later put in a story, with permission of course. Inspiration isn't ritualistic. Writing can be, but inspiration can hit at any moment.

I'd travel to the Anita Blake Universe and head straight for the Circus of the Damned, then maybe head to Dead Dave's Bar and later on Guilty Pleasures.

Well, A BORN ANGEL wasn't the first book I wrote for the KALISTA CHRONICLES. The "1st" book came from that first book I wrote, because a friend asked for Kalista's backstory. I sat down to write it and one book turned into a series.

Currently Editing the first book in the Created Angel Novels, which is an Adult series in the same Universe as the Kalista Chronicles. This book will come out in April.
