Thank you Joe! It's always thrilling when you know something you've written has touched somebody. There's been a lot of discussion in author talks I've given from readers asking about a sequel. There's been a lot of care for Jodie, in particular. In truth I feel like the story is fully 'cooked'. I think if I were to revisit these characters in any way, Pamela is probably the most interesting to me, with the most unanswered questions to explore.

This might annoy some people, but I don't get writer's block. I have too many ideas for the time I have to do them justice. What I am hampered by is procrastination...

The answer to this is complex. It must have been brewing in my subconscious when I was trying to write another book. I put it aside and was reading Stephen Daisley's Traitor, which is a beautifully written story about a spiritual/fraternal love between two men in wartime. It must have triggered something, as I spewed out Something Else almost as if by dictation in less than three months. While little bits of my life or experiences are inevitably to be found in there, the characters ultimately told their own stories, they just felt that real to me. And if they felt real to me, then I hope the reader will have that same experience.
