What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Ann M. Trader It's so much fun to give your thoughts the space and freedom to roam. I'm a plotter for sure, but I don't restrict my impulse to let the characters live and breathe on the page.
Writing is the most enjoyable, creative thing I do, and I'm so grateful for my readers. Each and every one of them. Always.

What are you currently working on?
Ann M. Trader My NEW Contemporary Romance Series called THE WONDER OF WILDFLOWERS!
On July 15, 2024, I released the first book, TRUTH AND DARE, and it's a workplace/friend-to-lovers romance.

I've signed the contract for book two in the series, and it should release in early 2025. The title is BETWEEN TODAY AND SOMEDAY, and it's a brother's best friend romance.

I'm so excited about this series! I’ve got characters and romance tropes sketched out for the remaining four stories. I’m midway through the draft of book three and love how it's unfolding so far!

How do you get inspired to write?
Ann M. Trader The key for me is to just be open to inspiration whenever and however it hits me. I keep notes on my phone at all times, and I snap photos of things that catch my eye. I'm always jotting down words, phrases, and kernels of thoughts, weaving them into my characters and the stories they have to tell.
