I write rubbish, then laugh at myself, and then fix it and before I know it, I am writing properly. So the trick to how to write is to start writing.

A book for parents, as I am, on executive functioning as the way I can find to genuinely help to develop my children. My only wish is that I had studied the subject and written the book earlier.

Read more books and while you are at it read books on writing. Read outside your area. I am writing a book on executive functioning and I was reading Full Throttle by Joe Hill and randomly he mentioned executive functioning in a sci-fi story. I would never have imagined a connection. I refer to it now in my book.

I just start writing with a headline and then as I write I pull what I have written apart and add headlines and then the order appears which I can expand upon. Sometimes I can't write at all, in which case I just look to write out bullet points. Either way, I look for a subject where I think it may be possible to find at least 8 chapters, so if I can see a few I start to think of ways I might invent a few obvious ones, and then as I write it out I discover the need for other chapters. It is all about providing information that answers a specific question.

life experience, I have been an entrepreneur all my life, from the very beginning I used to clean cars and I had a paper round. Since then I have managed to serve every type of client, in a wide range of industries, across many countries especially the U.S., the U.K., and Europe, as I live in London, although I have worked further afield with colleagues in Australia too.
