Honestly, the idea for the plot of the book I'm currently plotting came from a dream I had. I dreamt the whole first scene of the book and part of the dialogue as well. Luckily for me, as soon as I woke up I hurried and wrote it all down so I wouldn't forget it.

Writer's block for me tends to be my queue that I've depleted my creative well, it lets me know that I need to step away from the project I'm currently working on and do something I enjoy. So I tend to watch a new Kdrama, read a favorite book, or play a video game with my kids.

Honestly, the best advice I ever got was to just sit down and write. You can outline and plot all you want, but until you actually sit down and put words to paper then you'll never know what will happen. Take the chance and be courageous!

At this moment, I'm plotting book two in my First to Fight series. I'll be finishing the first draft during NaNoWriMo this year.
