Write. Just do it. Don't wait for inspiration. Don't wait for the right conditions. Just do it. Practice your craft every single day. Sit your butt down in the chair and put your words on paper.
Get the technical aspects of it under your belt so that you don't have to worry about the mechanics of stringing words together into sentences.
Some of what you write will be crap. A lot of it will be crap.
But some of it will be good.
And the more you do it, the better it will get. You'll find your voice, and you'll find the stories that you want to tell.
Write what you want to read.
Love what you do.
Don't listen to the nay-sayers.
Read and learn everything that you can about the craft. Watch YouTube videos and read blogs. Read books in the genre that you love.
And at the end of the day, be happy and satisfied with what you've accomplished!
