Everywhere and everything. The best part of making a new creation is that you can take and capitalize on other people's ideas while also adding your own twist or unique ideas into the mix. Every time I read a book or I watch a show I think of ideas presented as their own concept. Can I use that concept? Can I improve on it? Does it complement other things I already have in my universe?

Reality. Not because it's great but because it has limits. In your imagination, anything is possible... and that's where I want to escape.

Ask others for advice that have done what you want to do. I started writing because I met a self-published author at a street fair that encouraged me to pick up where I left off in high school. I wrote several stories back then but gave up to pursue other adventures. Four months after speaking with him, my writing career took off as I self-published, edited, and the whole nine yards.

I haven't had writer's block so far in my writing career. I think that is because I always take frequent breaks and watch / read anything I can get my hands on that has to do with fantasy. Flooding yourself with fresh ideas constantly will inherently allow you to overcome roadblocks to your own development.

Probably Jobless Reincarnation's universe. I love the diversity of ideas expressed, the different character's backgrounds, and the landscape that was clearly painted for the audience. I would prefer to be one of the sword masters like Eris if I had a choice.
