My mother's early life is shrouded in mystery. I found out a number of things just before she died when she became more open about her past. She was a young child in Hitler's Germany and a teenager during the war, but rarely talked of it.

I'm working on the sequel to Habitat Man (actually I have several in mind), and also a prequel. So much to write, so little time!

Habitat Man was based on a real life ecologist who gave up his job to become a wildlife gardening consultant. The secret in my hero's past is also based on a true story.
