The best thing? That's a hard decision--I'd say it's a tie between getting to "hang out" with my characters, and being able to realize one of my childhood dreams. (My other big dream was being able to talk to & understand animals, so I'll take my successes where I can get them! ;) )

I go for a walk! Honestly, I get most of my best ideas while out walking. A close second would be playing video games, which I find help inspire my creativity. :)
