Some parts of my latest book have come from incidents that are similar to past events in my life but I have taken them into a whole different area of how things went with me. I try and write from the heart because I feel that way the reader will connect better with the story.

it just comes to me. I have taken a good year off doing any writing with a lot of family stuff going on but when the story strikes it gets written down.

For me, it is being able to become someone other than a mom and to prove to my kids that if you want something bad enough you will achieve it But ask me again in a few months and that may change
