Whitney Welsh Gibbs My advice actually comes from one of my favorite authors, Joanne Harris, who told me, "Write. Even if it is terrible. Even if it makes no sense. Just write."

Those words have really helped me get started when I was scared and unsure where my stories might go.
Whitney Welsh Gibbs Well, I have another novel (geared toward adults this time) that is currently deep in the editing stages. I also am starting research for a biographical book that tells the stories of a number of refugees, to help highlight the difficulties of life and why someone would choose to leave everything they know for safety and freedom.

Also, there might be more of Lucas' story to come!
Whitney Welsh Gibbs Music really helps me to get inspired to write. I love to put on something moody and when the characters are really going through something; or ambient when I just want to focus. Music is a great tool when writing!
