David Wright I'm currently working on formatting, proofing and acquiring cover art for the third and final Galahad's Doom book, "The Armor of God".
David Wright I'm never bored. When I have time to kill, I just start quietly brainstorming. Not only am I never bored, but I actively look for opportunities to unplug and slow down. That, and I genuinely love my characters.
David Wright This has rarely happened to me. When it does, it's more of a logic problem with the plot and not just me frozen up. So I'll walk away from the work and not worry about it all. Eventually, one of my characters will step up and solve the problem for me--- er, I mean: my subconscious works it out for me
David Wright I can think of dozens of fictional worlds that I've enjoyed, but the reasons I've enjoyed them is that the stories are thrilling, full of danger and conflict. And while those are my among my favorite stories, it doesn't necessarily mean I'd want to live there. I think I want peace and quiet, a nice jar of honey and a little piglet for a best friend. Give me the Hundred Acre Wood, I promise Pooh I won't be a bother.
David Wright Well, the summer is over and I spent most of those months working on the third and final installment of my Galahad's Doom series, but I can tell you I did read: "Miami Heist" by Van Allen Plexico, "Haunt It or Flaunt It" and "Hootdunnit?" by Mark Bousquet, "Shadows Through Time" and "Kris Kringle: Monster Hunter" by James Palmer, "Scattered Smothered and Chunked" by John Hartness, "The Curse of Capistrano" by Johnston McCulley, "Good Vibrations" by Mike Love
