Little stuff in life inspire me. For instance, I went on a jog once and saw this couple. They were so beautiful together dancing and then she got into her car and left and he looked gutted. I went home and couldn’t get the look of unrequited love out of my head. I named the girl Auden and the boy Linc and went from there. Two years later, I wrote Between Us, It’s Hard.
