Do the parts that you're excited about first. If you're excited about developing characters then spend the time creating them a profile. If you're excited about the plot then chart that out first! Once you're excited about what you're doing, the harder part become easier.

As of today, I am actively working on the next 3 books in the Emerald realm series at different stages of development. Book 2 is in the process of being edited, book 3 is undergoing beta reading, and I'm about 9 chapters into writing book 4. There's lots more to look forward to!

I've always enjoyed writing, but never had the time to do it. It wasn't until I felt inspired to write my first book that I made an effort to put the time aside. My first word document with plot notes was actually entitled "Do It!" For a little self-motivation.

I have always adored fairy tales and only recently discovered the genre of fairy tale retellings! I was instantly hooked and wanted to try spinning some classic tales of my own! Poisoned Heart is completely inspire by snow white, but with lots of original elements.
