Elizabeth Garver I write other things. Blogging really helps me. It lets me release what's inside that's in the way of the fictional story I want to tell.
Elizabeth Garver I got the idea for The Java Tavern because it's a coffee shop I would love to open if I actually had the means to do so. I've always had a love for baking and I spent many hours in coffee shops in Greensboro, NC that also had a few beers on tap and wine available. I loved the mix of the crowd late in the day of the coffee lovers and casual drinkers just coming together to enjoy the relaxing environment.
Elizabeth Garver Seeing people reading the pages through their kindle. (I get a report on a collective number of pages read per day) Knowing that people are reading what I wrote. Having friends, family and complete strangers excited about something I published is the best feeling.
Elizabeth Garver I've always been a writer. I've always been writing. As an adult, at some point, you have to really consider if you want your writing to be sent out into the world or not. I've always had a blog and shared my ideas with others, but sharing my books with the world has been a whole new experience for me.
Elizabeth Garver Java Tavern 2! I will be writing this series until I feel like Eliza has reached a point of no return. We'll see if that'll ever happen.
