Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Sven Rodrigues-Wagner Right in front of our garden and in our streets. While running or gaming, you never know when an idea hits you. Write it down and keep it; it might be a whole story in that rock. All it needs is chiselling away the rough edges.

What are you currently working on?
Sven Rodrigues-Wagner The second book is about Jack the cats in The Five Streets. The third book is also in the pipeline.
If I find time, I am going back to my first draft of a tale about the powers in the universe, the good and the evil, but I do not want to say too much as this one is years in the making now and not sure if it will ever see the sunlight.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Sven Rodrigues-Wagner Write, no matter what and how. Just keep doing it. Do not look back at what you have written until you are at the end of a draft. DO NOT DOUBT yourself ever!

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Sven Rodrigues-Wagner I am running and PC gaming, whatever feels suitable for the mood I am in. Both are good for inspiration and switching off.

Having a beer and a long talk with Stephen King, drawing on his inspiration and knowledge! Watch out, Stephen, might knock on your door soon :)

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Sven Rodrigues-Wagner Let the world you live in inspire you. The same way as it happened to me with Jack. I was working on a different book and had a look outside the window where I saw a cat stealing food out of the bins. That's how Jack and the Food Thief came to live.
