Currently I am in the process of research and gathering for a sequel to "Charlie".
I don't know if you read it─you should!─but one of the "characters''─which is a weird way to describe it, since I based the thing on an event in my life, so the characters are pretty much part of my everyday existence─is my father. And he also is diagnosed with skin-cancer. It runs in the family, I guess.
Anyway, he is going through treatment as we speak, so the second coming of this thing called "Charlie" will be about skin-cancer in my life... Again...

It's annoying. It drives me mad. It's frustrating. It's like a comet; it comes back every couple of years, whether you want it to or not.
I have no tips or tricks to deal with it. I just have to ride it out.

Well... As it is described as such; I was diagnosed with skin-cancer. And the entire trip through this world of medical wonders, as well as the psychological effect, was completely absurd, which made it funny in a weird way. And I personally need "funny" in order to survive. So I penned the experience down. Which ultimately led to the book.
