I've loved telling stories since I was little and occasionally wrote them down. However, my friend convinced me over quarantine to begin writing more, and I did. That is why I started writing my novel, The Shift. With encouragement from my friends and family, I was able to write and edit and eventually publish my first novel.

If I could travel to any fictional book world, I would choose Camp Halfblood, Narnia, or Hogwarts. In Camp Halfblood I would be a daughter of Apollo and train with Chiron and other demigods, in Narnia I would hang out with the Pevensies, Prince Caspian, and Aslan, and in Hogwarts I would become the best witch I could be.

I am currently working on a novel written from journal entries from a pirate by the name of Assan Cadman.

The best thing about being a writer is the fact that you can create your own characters, stories, and worlds from nothing more than sentences. Something that consisted only in your imagination can become a tangible thing when it is written out, and even more so when it is published. What was once nothing more than a bare outline of a story can become a fully fleshed novel with writing, editing, and a bit more editing. That is the magic of writing.
