Jim McGhee Hi Diety World!
I just checked with BookSirens and see that you have the other three but not the third.
So, two solutions:
Could you please try this one first - it's a link to BookSirens which is available to me:
https://booksirens.com/book/FP2SE0V/H...
If that doesn't work, review copies of my books are also available on StoryOrigin, which, if you don't know it, is free to us both. You have to sign up but it's no hassle to unsubscribe any time.
Please let me know how you get on.
And thanks so much for your kind reviews. Though Amazon is my main target for reviews I greatly appreciate them on Goodreads too.
All the best, Jim
Jim McGhee You'd have to ask my six-year-old Irish Terrier, Jack. He get's hauled out into the country all the time and strangely never complains...
Jim McGhee I just love to write. The agonising process of choosing the hopefully correct phrase, image, story, the endless self-editing, the absolute freedom to choose any subject I like, the daunting challenge to make a story stand up.
Jim McGhee Flippant but: Write. The world is all around you. Inspiration is everywhere. Start with an idea that excites you and see where it goes.
Jim McGhee Book three in the series: A Killer Legacy. Plus a whole lot of stuff new to me such as improving the website, creating newsletters, understanding Mailerlite and trying to find the best ways to promote the books and get people to read them.
Jim McGhee From the real world, chances meetings, current events, places I know, daydreaming...
Jim McGhee It started with the main character. Near Haddington in Scotland I was driving when I saw a sign pointing to a particular farm. The farm was called:
Barney Mains. For some reason, I immediately saw a mature cop, a bit boring, a bit fed up, big and clumsy but a good guy inside. His lively young sidekick was an obvious counterpoint and with the action in France, a wise Poirot-type character was a must.
At the same time, I was reading a lot about how social inequality was increasing even more because of the pandemic. I also read about an organisation of philanthropic billionaires in the USA. Can't say more for obvious reasons but suffice to say, for those who haven't read book one yet: This book may contain Politics.
