Marc B. DeGeorge Looking forward to "The Dispossessed" by Ursula K. LeGuin, and "Pattern Recognition" by William Gibson, but first I have to finish "To Sleep in a Sea of Stars" by Christopher Paolini, "The Calculating Stars" by Mary Robinette Kowal, and "The City We Became" by N.K. Jemisin.

I'm also (since I am one) trying to support my fellow self-publishers. I've bought books from Julia Huni, S.C. Jensen, and David Gaughran.
Marc B. DeGeorge Wow, tough question. I love to travel, so it would be really hard to find only one. I suppose I'd like to visit Moth, home of Alan Dean Foster's Flinx, mainly because I like the rain. Then I might want to go to the planet in Adrian Tchaikovsky's Children of Time.

Of course, I've created some great planets that would be amazing to see in person. Angelcanis, the homeworld of my characters from Origin Story would be a great start.
Marc B. DeGeorge Honestly, I've never had that problem, but if I was having trouble, I think I'd step away from the keyboard, and think about what's going on in my story. If I can understand where things are going, I can write.
Marc B. DeGeorge I get to imagine characters and worlds that don't exist, but one day, just might.
Marc B. DeGeorge Create a good habit of writing every day. Practice makes perfect. The more you write, the better you will get. And don't get caught up in your writing. Don't think your book is that precious The first book I ever wrote isn't bad, but I'm never going to release it. I'll take the idea and re-write it, but that was just a learning experience for me.
You'll see how you improve. Also, get people to read your story and give you feedback. Don't take it personally. It's all learning. Get better. Write better. Soon enough, you'll be impressed at what you can do.
Marc B. DeGeorge Many, many things. So here's a quick list:
Book 4 of the ORIGIN STORY series.
Book 1 of a new series where I make use of my love of airplanes.
Another series where I make use of my love of music and dance.
Marc B. DeGeorge I've always loved reading, and I constantly have new ideas for stories. For me, I think writing that first draft is just as exciting as reading a great book. The difference is that this is my world and my characters, and I get to create all of it.
Marc B. DeGeorge It was an idea that I had since high school. I modified it and added to it, but the core of it is still there.
Marc B. DeGeorge Where is the missing Krackel chocolate bar my 7th grade teacher promised me?
