H.B. Chapman After writing book three, "The Vanished Violinist," I felt I'd really nailed the tone and treatment for this series (imho, it's the best one yet). This is quite common for authors, even traditionally published ones. The MIS series is cracking open in its character development, voice, and Ella's personal story arc. Meanwhile, the nature of book two was that it leaned into more epic, absurd, adventurous, and plot driven. I've revised its tone and fleshed out the character development so that the reader has a deeper, smoother transition from book one to juicy book three and beyond. :)
NOTE: At this stage, I haven't released the revised version as a new ISBN/edition because I want to allow readers who've already got the original version to update their copy rather than buy a new one. If you haven't read the second version, the plot integrity is fine, but please update your copy before you read fresh as you'll be missing some special character development that enriches the relationships and storyline.
H.B. Chapman Music, music! Book three's mystery is themed around a mysterious chamber orchestra.
