I love how characters and plot lines begin to develop as I am writing. I start with one idea, and before I know it the story has taken on a life of it's own!

I wish that I knew more about the my biological father's struggle prior to his death at age 28. After returning from Vietnam, he became an alcoholic and died when I was a baby. The limited amount of information that was shared with me has left much to my imagination as I can only conjecture the details of his story.
