I'm working on a sequel for Comfort in the Wings! There are so many more themes to share about grief and hope, and so many more aspects of the characters to develop. I'm excited about sharing even more connections to these characters with my readers!

The idea for Comfort in the Wings came from experiencing profound loss, but then learning that there are ways to be both sad about the loss, while full of gratitude for the gift of life. I hoped that by sharing these realizations, maybe I could "pay it forward" and help others who experience overwhelming grief.
