Becoming a writer was never the aim before. I just want to share one important thing here. I strongly believe that, ‘Being a writer or an author is more of a responsibility than the credit part for their work. It is a long selfless journey altogether. I took this as a challenge and tried to assure it in every bit of my book, starting from page one to the page three hundred and thirty; and even on the book cover (both the front and the back cover). That is one of the reasons why it took five years for me to complete the first book titled, ‘The Virtues of a Self-Satisfied Life’. I became an author with this book coming into the market place (Paperback in India and eBook Worldwide on Amazon), but still the motive for writing is the same. I want to write for the real life problems to get a resolution for. I want to write for making the living simpler for every human being. I surely don’t want to write a book for getting the name or fame, as it never comes with it anyways. The world knows better to whom to give a credit and to whom to give zero response. And, I am grateful to everyone around that the initial reviews are good for my book.

Writing is a full time job and not a part time work or hobby.
I. The point when a person writes to solve a bigger problem related to any living being; they should call themselves as a writer. Be it anything, the world is too big; and writing has no limits! There are only 26 letters (A-Z) for every writer to play around in English language and there is no partiality! Every other language similarly has the definite number of letters to play around and it is same for every writer. One writer makes a 30k word count book; whereas second one makes a 300k word count book. Sometimes, both the books work nicely; sometimes nothing works for the readers. Finally it all comes to the imagination power of the writer (creativity), the actual problem statement of the book and the hard work a writer really put in to come up with a perfect and crystal clear solution to the problem given. Ultimately, the readers are the game changers and they put a stamp on it whether any book works for them and is a good read or it doesn’t work at all or work partially! My book, ‘The Virtues of a Self-Satisfied Life’ is exclusively available on Amazon India in a paperback edition and awaiting a click from the readers. This book is also available as an eBook on Amazon (Worldwide) for a wider reach. It seems to be a good book to me but the readers need to stamp it whether it works for them. I humbly request all the readers to please read this book and help me reaching to the billions of population all around!
II. The point when a person quits their job or windup their businesses completely to write something original; they should call themselves a writer.
III. The point when a person gives up everything else in life for the purpose of writing, they should call themselves as a writer.
IV. The point when a person becomes completely selfless in his writing, they should call themselves as a writer.
V. The point when a person literally dies to publish their work, they should call themselves as a writer.
One should be sincere in everything that they do it in their life and it will turn all the end results into their favor. It is irrespective of how many hurdles they come across in their life long journey.
Please read the chapters on sincerity and self-satisfaction in my book, ‘The virtues of a Self-Satisfied Life’ for more details on this subject matter.

Being a writer was never a dream for me, but bringing the solution to a major life threatening problem I have undergone was the key behind writing this book. Around five years ago, in the year 2017, I went through a hard time fighting my own wrong ambitions. It literally made me think, ‘What is important in life?’ and in answer to that I started writing this book with the same title. Months passed, chapters increased, word count increased, editing happened, vision got better, contents list changed, mission got better, titles changed, sections got formed, roadmap became clear, chapters got aligned to what was imagined of, extensive critique happened, we killed the content of no use, final professional editing happened, years passed in this process, started the publishing company to release this book, copyright process got completed, started cover design, started book design, finalized the chapter quotes, book got ready to publish with the final title, ‘The Virtues of a Self-Satisfied Life’. The sub-title came out as, ‘A shift from materialism to self-satisfaction’. This book says: Life is uncertain; make a few things certain. These things are; financial stability, Values Adherence, Inner Happiness, and Peace of Mind. Today I can say that it is a crystal clear book on the subject matter ‘Self-Satisfaction’.
With this book coming in the market space (eBook Worldwide and Paperback in India), I became the Publisher and Author at the same time! Life is really a different game altogether. It has the challenges inbuilt for every phase of life to deal with. We need to fight own battle and I am on the way for a new story.

I. The writer’s block is really a very serious concern for every writer and it is a mandatory thing to go through. Only writers who succeed in their writing journey are the ones who deal this problem with utmost sincerity.
II. The writer’s block is the poison in the glass of water that a write has to compulsorily drink and then cure themselves properly from its side effects. Only the God can help the writer and nothing else works in reality.
III. The writer’s block is not the onetime thing in the overall journey of the book. It comes at every now and then when author want to create a new scene for their book. The only difference is the magnitude of the occurrences. Mostly it is medium and all the writers cross over the river without much of hard work. But, sometimes the magnitude of the writer’s block is so heave that it tests all the patience of the writer and from every single corner of their life. Mostly the writers publish their half cooked book in such cases and they regret it at the later point in life. The writer should pray their god to give enough strengths to come over to such obstacles in a proper way and this seems to be the best way around.
IV. The writer’s block when resolved properly, it gives the complete new dimensions to the book, fills all the gaps around, gives a new life to the book, and best serves the readers around.
V. The writer has to work 24x7 and for many weeks to clear out and coming out of the issues of writer’s block. I remember working for many day in line without timely food and surviving on milk and breads to crack that obstacle for my book, ‘The Virtues of a Self-Satisfied Life’ and happy to see it in the form it is available today in the market. I am grateful to the God that I got all the circumstances that led me towards a clearer picture for this book!

The writing quirk for me is always the real life problem of any living beings for which I need to find an answer through my book.
I get the book idea when I see people struggling in their life with a specific problem and they are not able to come out of it by themselves. Those people spend long time suffering with such problems and they die with it, and it kills my ego and enforce me to write something that should help them in feeling better in their life with the resolution provided.
For my first book, the problem statement was, ‘What is important in life' or 'What should be the key goal of life for human beings?’ and today we all know the answer with my book ‘The Virtues of a Self-Satisfied Life’, and in a much clearer way. One line answer to this book is, 'A shift from materialism to self-satisfaction'.

The problem statement ideally should be something very BIG, grave, and a real major problem related to any living being that needs an immediate attention to have a crystal clear resolution thru the book. Writing is the researcher’s job and it can only be done full time. Part time writer cannot give a major contribution in solving a big problem. They can just be happy with their name on the book. Part time writer’s book will still sell if they have a good name, fame and money. But, it will not help people to solve their real life problems in a big way. They may even misguide their readers if they don’t do proper research prior to their book release. Writing is a selfless effort when a writer puts all his ego aside, wish of having name and fame aside; and focus on writing a holy piece on paper that remains alive forever in the hearts of the readers around.
