From reading! Sometimes when a plot comes together or you fall in love with a character, it gives you that happy feeling inside. I feel inspired to stimulate the same sensation in my own readers.

I find a lot of my inspiration comes from dreams, but the majority comes from an overactive imagination. As a writer I believe it's vital to feed your curiosity, and indulge in the 'what ifs' - What if wine stopped existing? What if we could control dark matter? What if?

I am currently working on the second book of The Chaos Covenant series!

When dreaded writer's block takes hold, I stop trying to write that particular scene. Instead I'll think up a multitude of unrelated material. It might be something funny, or maybe sad, or romantic, and I'll focus on that. Then, I'll put it to the side, and more often than not the writer's block will have faded, and I'll have a brand new scene to add somewhere in my book!
